It was not a usual movie. It was a movie full with mockeries and sarcasms towards a boss, in a joking way. It was indeed the most hilarious film so far in 2016.
Everybody has a boss or used to has a boss. Those kinda irritable bosses that we love to strangle them to death, in our mind of course!
The storyline was beautifully done in a way that will take you down the memory lanes. It was quite hooking especially if you used to came across the same path as ‘Kerani’ (Diana, played by Bunga Cinta Lestari) enduring the most annoying and irritating boss (Bossman, played by Reza Rahadian)
Refreshingly, filled with mind-hooking scenes, Bossman and Diana, along with her officemates, will surely make your mind to wander inside your own experience in facing a boss like Mr Bossman.
“Impossible we do…miracle we try,” Mr Bossman
So simple, yet so powerful. Yes, we do hate our bosses but trust me, deep down, we will definitely admit that they kinda give us a lesson or two in our life, which helped to shape us, in a way. In the office, (in any office i guess) Mr Bossman always right. How annoying Mr Bossman is that Diana and her colleagues have to endure his silliness.
However, how stupid Mr Bossman to Diana, there is something that makes her look up to these silly boss.
“If the unfortunate can still help each other, why can’t i” – Mr Bossman
The movie was an adaptation of 4 popular best sellers Indonesian novels, written by Chaos@work. It was the 15th film by Falcon Pictures and the first to ever collaborate with a Malaysian Production, Madness FIlm Sdn. Bhd. with Malaysia distribution by Skop Production (owned by Dato’ Yusuf Haslam).
The shooting was 100% done in Kuala Lumpur within a mere 25-days. With Indonesian casts like Bunga Citra Lestari, Reza Rahadian and Alex Abbad and Malaysian casts namely Atikah Suhaimie, Bront Palarae, Chew Kinwah and Iskandar Zulkarnain, the comedy has a special touch because they don’t even use comedy lines but it turns out to make us laugh from the start till the end!
