MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU) BETWEEN TV3 & BUILD UP RESOURCES SDN BHD (BUR)

TV3 of Media Prima Television Networks (MPTN) and Build Up Resources Sdn Bhd (BUR), announced a new collaboration agreement to jointly organise Karnival Jom Heboh (KJH) Shah Alam and Grand Bazaar Ramadan Raya 2019 (GBRR) today.

The agreement, in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), formalises the mutual interaction and strengthens the existing relationship between BUR, represented by the Chairman, Dato’ Mohd Azizan Bin Che Omar and Encik Johan Ishak, the Chief Executive Officer of MPTN.  

The ceremony was graced by YB DATUK SERI MOHD REDZUAN BIN MD YUSOF, MINISTER OF ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT who jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.

KJH, TV3’s biggest carnival event will be happening in a two-day event on the 27th & 28th April at Bulatan Stadium Bazarena, Shah Alam.

GBRR 2019 is also projecting for The Malaysia Book of Records as Malaysia’s biggest open space Bazaar. It will be happening simultaneously on 4th May – 2nd June at Stadium Shah Alam and 16th May – 4th June at Stadium Bukit Jalil.

Previously, BUR and 8TV of MPTN had successfully organised a CNY Grand Bazaar in January 2019 at Bukit Jalil which reached out to 450,000 visitors. CNY Grand Bazaar was featured in The Malaysia Book of Records for the ‘Most Number of Lions in a Lion Dance performance’. The overwhelming response of ‘Blossom Wonderland’ (Immersive Projection Mapping) and ‘Air Asia Big International Lion Dance Challenge’ were seen as the key accomplishments of the event.

As for the Ramadan & Raya festive season, TV3 and BUR will continue to jointly organise their first mega Grand Bazaar Ramadan Raya (GBRR) as a platform for the business community and entrepreneurs especially small medium enterprises (SMEs) in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur to market their products and services.

BUR will be providing 436 unit of booths in Bukit Jalil and 134 unit of booths in Shah Alam which will be operating from 3pm to 12am on weekdays and 11am to 12am on weekends & public holidays for both venues with an expected crowd of 500,000.

On this event, BUR is also targeting to be featured in The Malaysia Book of Records for having the longest lemang in history and sales of the lemang will be channelled to ‘Tabung BersamaMu TV3’. Other attractions and specialities provided during the Grand Bazaar Ramadan Raya 2019 will include CSR programmes such as, ‘Acara Solat Berjemaah with Tahfiz’ and ‘Majlis Berbuka Puasa bersama Anak-anak Yatim’.

During the GBRR 2019, all brands and vendors are more than welcomed to sell their products to the public. Range of products include; Clothing, Personal Accessories, Cosmetics, Health & Beauty, Electrical, Furniture, Home Deco, Handphone Accessories, Raya Cookies, Food & Beverage etc.
